Integrantes del Programa de Apoyo al Deportista (PAD) del IPD disputaron la final en Dobles mixto.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Lima, 14 Agosto 2025, (El Informante Per\u00fa).-<\/strong> En un emocionante partido, los hermanos Amaro y Luciana Castillo, integrantes del Programa de Apoyo al Deportista (PAD) del Instituto Peruano del Deporte (IPD), consiguieron la medalla de plata en squash de los Juegos Panamericanos Junior Asunci\u00f3n 2025, que se desarrolla hasta el 23 de agosto en Paraguay.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nuestros compatriotas cayeron por 4-11 y 7-11 ante los mexicanos Wally \u00c1vila y Mariana Narv\u00e1ez, y sumaron la novena presea para el Team Per\u00fa en el medallero general.<\/span><\/p>\n

En su camino a la final, la dupla nacional derrot\u00f3 a los colombianos Jos\u00e9 Santamar\u00eda\/Luciana Mart\u00ednez en ronda de 16, a los ecuatorianos Javier Romo\/Ariana Alava en cuartos de final y a los paraguayos Dami\u00e1n Casarino\/Fiorella Gatti en semifinales.<\/span><\/p>\n

Con esta presea, los hermanos Castillo superaron la actuaci\u00f3n del squash peruano en la edici\u00f3n de Cali Valle 2021, donde no se pudo subir al podio.<\/span><\/p>\n

Esta fue la segunda presea plateada de nuestra delegaci\u00f3n, tras la obtenida por Valentina Porcella en tiro.<\/span><\/p>\n
