Te\u00f3filo Cubillas siempre estuvo unido con Hugo Sotil Yer\u00e9n desde sus \u00e9pocas de jugador cuando lograron el bicampeonato con Alianza Lima en 1977 y 1978.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">En la selecci\u00f3n peruana tambi\u00e9n hicieron una dupla endemoniada en el Mundial de F\u00fatbol M\u00e9xico 1970. Tambi\u00e9n fueron protagonistas en esa escuadra nacional que alcanz\u00f3 la Copa Am\u00e9rica 1975.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Luego del f\u00fatbol, ambos siguieron unidos por una amistad fuerte y es por ello que el Cubillas cargando ese sentimiento le dedic\u00f3 unas palabras emotiva a su \u00b4compadre&#8217; tras conocer la noticia de su fallecimiento.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cLa noticia de tu partida ha dejado un profundo vac\u00edo en mi alma. Tu trayectoria fue impresionante. Siempre admir\u00e9 tu talento, dedicaci\u00f3n, y tu \u00e9xito en Europa fue un motivo de orgullo para todos nosotros.
