El horror empieza cuando, en el quinto cumplea\u00f1os de Damien (impenetrable rostro del peque\u00f1o Harvey Stephens), inesperadamente, su ni\u00f1era se suicida. Un sacerdote que trata de advertir a Robert del peligro que corre, muere en un inesperado accidente. El creciente n\u00famero de muertes hace que Robert, por fin, se d\u00e9 cuenta de que el ni\u00f1o que han adoptado es el Anticristo y que hay que eliminarlo para impedir que se cumpla una terrible profec\u00eda. Una eficiente historia que tuvo nominaciones y premios. El rostro del ni\u00f1o, Harvey Stephens lo dice todo. Muy superior a cualquiera de sus irregulares secuelas posteriores. Todo ello unido a la espeluznante y sobrecogedora partitura de Jerry Goldsmith, incluido su incre\u00edble final junto a la lectura de la p\u00e1gina b\u00edblica donde se cita a tan maligna criatura.
